Who likes organic baby clothing better? What do you like about it?

the only difference I’ve noticed is it is more expensive. just make sure you wash all clothes before your baby wears them and you’ll be fine, no need to get organic.

Organic clothing? Do you mean ‘natural fibers’ or actual organic clothing? I never knew there WAS organic clothing. I really think though, that if you mean clothing made from organically grown cotton etc… it would be a waste of good money. Cotton grown without pesticides…then made into fabric and washed, is no worse than cotton grown with pesticides, made into fabric and washed. It would just be more expensive.

I like the concept of organic cotton clothing but I find it’s very expensive. I’m even more interested in organic cotton mattresses but they are like 3x’s more expensive and I really don’t want my baby to be so very sensitive because I can’t really afford to maintain that lifestyle… but if you can… I would!

We have a lot of organic baby clothes not so much because they’re organic, but because stuff marked "organic" and marketed to snobs like me tends to be a bit softer and a bit nicer overall.
Nicer, non-blah-pastel colours, nicer styles, and a better quality fabric that doesn’t pill so easily.
If they just marked it "better quality," I’d be fine with that too; I’m not harbouring any illusions about organic cotton being directly better for my daughter. I suppose it does have a theoretical advantage for the enviroment and thus her future, though.

It is nice, but personally I just assume buy the cheap stuff. They are going to outgrow it in a couple months. I would rather pay 6 bucks for a pack of t-shirts than 10 bucks for a pack of t-shirts. I have better stuff to use the money for. Like saving for a college education for 3 kids.

I like it… I wasn’t drawn to it because it said "organic". I was shopping for baby clothes one day, saw a cute sleeper, bought it and realized that it was alot softer than most other cottons… I have since to buy it, because it is more expensive, but I do think it feels nicer.
