I work at Kmart in the lawyaway department, and I also take care of the men’s department when I am there. Lately I have been noticing that a lot of the newer shirts that are coming in say organic on them. What is the benefit to organic clothes exactly? Is it just so that no pesticides contributed to depleting the earth or what?

My husband and I are totally into organic food, cosmetics, clothes and stuff. We live at the Gold Coast and we would love to open an organic shop with fresh produce, cosmetics, clothing, bed linen etc.
Does anyone have an idea where to start planning this?
How to get a shop going?
How to contact suppliers?
So far it is just an idea, a dream. But I hope we can make it reality soon.

i’m just starting to shop for my little one on the way and i dont really want clothes made in china because of the lead and other chemicals that are in the clothing, so i really want organic….what organic clothing store did you find to have the best selections

Don’t they do the "made in USA" stickers anymore? Organic ones still could be made in China…

The cotton growers also use alternatives in their farming practices making it better on the community as well.
