Worthy gifts for father this holiday season?

My dad is so hard to shop for, and with exams and essays galore, extreme homemade projects aren’t realistic.
My father’s birthday is 10 days before Christmas, making it even harder to stretch gift ideas.
He is extremely Eco-friendly, and OCD when it comes to products: they have to be organic, inexpensive, and not made in China.
Every time I ask him when he wants, he always says, "Oh nothing, because I’ve got you".
Yeah adorable, but he deserves an actual gift.
I’m running out of time and ideas.
I’m in advanced art classes so I though I would give him a drawing, but I don’t have finished pieces right now, and it’s too time consuming to try.
I can’t knit, but I am sewing him a scarf.
In the past I’ve given him: funny boxers, sweatshirts (which he insists he wants no more of), ties, water powered clocks, collages (which he lost. twice.), baked goods and shoes. I’ve repeated these gifts sometimes.

What is something store bought or homemade to satisfy my picky father and show my care?

I am interested in making and selling pet related items (dogs & cats) and donating a portion to an animal charity. I have thought of a few ideas such as pet gift baskets, picture frames, organic dog treats and cakes, tote bags, even jewelry. I am interested to know what you might be interested in. What are some things that you would be excited about purchasing? Any ideas would be awesome as this is just a thought as of now. Thanks in advance!

Every since I have been drinking organic homemade fruit juice, vegetable juice, wheat grass juice, green tea and ginger herbal tea, I feel incredible. Like Hercules. I am literally obsessed with these drinks/beverages. Do you feel the same if you are drinking these drinks/beverages as well or am I overreacting?

There is all things wrong with that title. i think that was a little too much of an exaggeration, but they do make you feel amazing..i like chai tea the most

Fair-trade/organic/eco-friendly Christmas gift-basket ideas?

As one of my Christmas gifts this year, I am planning on making an entirely fair-trade/organic/eco-friendly gift basket full of all sorts of different things. The catch is that the basket has to be appealing to virtually anybody because it’s going to be part of a gift-swap (e.g. has to be good for a 12-year-old girl and a 50-year-old man at the same time).

So far I’ve thought of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, chocolate, reusable water bottle, jewellery… but I need more ideas. Also, the spending limit is between $25-$30.

Much depends on quality, presentation and your target market. Next time ebay has a free listing day, take a really photo of the assembled gift set and start it at a price you’d be happy with. See if anyone bids. If they don’t you’ve not lost anything and possibly got some valuable market info.

I came up with bellasboutique but i searched and it was already taken. I really like the name Bella or Sophie something with one of those names. Our online store will be selling gift baskets, all natural/organic and homemade bath and body products, mineral makeup, accessories and more. what would be a good name using something like Bella or Sophie? I’m thinking about getting an organic vegan/vegetarian cook book
any good ones?

I’m vegetarian (though not vegan)… my favorite one is this hardcover book I got at Barnes and Nobles, from the discount section… I forget the exact name, but it’s pretty pedestrian. It’s on Indian Cooking. I love paneer, and nan… and I love spicey foods.

No, as it implies that you think of them as being "unclean" ! Stick to the basics when gifting… a nice gift card for Carabba’s Italian Grill or TGI Fridays will suffice !
